Great Training Book!

The title of the book says it all! Renee Nemitz did a great job pulling together all this information. This book fills a serious void in training materials on instrumentation. Each page contains one or two instruments with large, detailed photos, the name of the instrument (including the nicknames), uses of the instrument, as well as key information about the instrument.
The CD that comes with the book allows students to interact with the instruments, in addition to a digital instrument image library, audio pronunciations, and exercises (drop-and-drag, timed audio identification, flash card exercises). To assist educators, all images are downloadable for use in lectures, handouts and exams.
With the high-quality photos and interactive exercises, your institution will not have to budget thousands of dollars for instrument sets used for demonstration only.

I bought this book for my friend (who works in a hospital) and she LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEDDDDDD it! It has pretty much every surgical tool you could ever think of, detailed explanation and pictures. Informative.

Wasn't helpful in the amount and kind of instruments listed. Would have wanted another book that was organized better and included MORE instruments.
